Our commitment to safety

Socially distanced mini golf

At Putting Edge, we install custom pop up mini golf courses for a range of corporate events around the UK and Europe. The inclusive nature of mini-golf means high levels of engagement and accessibility. As of July 4th, workplace, hospitality and corporate events are slowly starting to ‘pop up’. We want to reassure you of our commitment to creating fun ‘face to face’ activities with safety measures firmly in place.

Our unique, modular system (a bit like Lego), means we can design a course to fit the space given. Therefore, we can keep players socially distant with ease. The photos from previous events illustrate how simple this is to create.

For instance, a 5 or 9 hole course is spaced out enough that a ‘team’ or individuals can still play on the same course, at the same time. However, they keep at least 2m apart at all times. We can help you with structuring a competition with ‘tee times’. The only real change for us would be how many people play at the same time. Courses can also be spaced out around a venue, rather than just one space too.

Our commitment to safe play includes the following guidelines:

1. Brand new branded golf balls for every individual player to use and keep as a souvenir.
2. A sanitising station for hands and/or the putters (depending on how many players are involved, these may need to be reused)
3. There is very minimal (if any) contact from players actually touching the course with anything but the putter.
4. Our team would be wearing PPE when setting up and, in the room, if required to stay during the time to run a competition (based on guidelines at the time)

Our new product ShufflePutt which is available for corporate clients to play at home or online but can also be installed in venues for use at any time.
