Being the first on the golf course early this morning gave me the chance to clear my head, think about a few things and try my new purchases. A wise man (Neil Simpson) once told me that everything should customer focused.

The customer service and custom fitting I received from David French at American Golf in Warrington was exceptional. I’ve had this level of service when buying irons before from Drew Molloy and always appreciate the level of detail (I spent two hours geeking out on data!)

The whole experience was about getting the right clubs for me, regardless of the sale. At no point was I pushed into buying or even trying the latest £400 driver. So 4 clubs purchased and 30 yards added to my drives today and my lowest score in over a year.
